Cicli Rino Boschetti Prototype
The bike was developed in the early 1990s. Made out of Columbus 'Extra Leggeri' tubing the frame has reinforcements on both ends of the top tube. Custom triangle blades give stability where the stress on the frame is the most.
The stunning paintwork was done by Gianni Schivazappa from Parma.
Rino Boschetti got the bike exposed on the Fiera di Milano where a visitor fell in love with the bike. Boschetti offered to build him another one exactly like this but the visitor insisted so much in buying it that eventuelly he took it home. Boschetti never made another one like this.
After so many years Boschetti just recently got the bike back.
It features a Campagnolo C Record group and Sistem Bos pedals developed by Boschetti in collaboration with mechanic Giorgio Siligardi, who was also a custom saddle builder. The special titanium saddle rails with incorporated spring are made by him.
The also rare 180mm C Record crankset (produced only for a few months with this Campagnolo logo) is supposed to let you develop speed, in combination with the Sistem Bos pedals it gives you agility. We'll provide the matching cleats.
The bike is build for a person around 180cm - 185cm tall, with long legs and small upper body in relation.
